Michelle Post, LCSW
The client for this project sought to create an authentic brand to build connection, represent her values and her services, as well as to develop a website with an easy UX.
Michelle Post, LCSW (or Licensed Clinical Social Worker) currently works as an Independent Contractor and Therapist in West Hartford, CT.
Michelle has been working with kids for the better part of 10 years in one way or another, starting with babysitting and nannying, then therapeutic mentoring, intensive in-home treatment for children and families, and school based outpatient treatment. She has a passion for working with teenagers and believes that speaking openly about struggles in the home can result in healthy communication towards problem solving, with a preference for in-person sessions in order to foster connection between clinician and client.
Her practice is based on feminist, cognitive, exposure, and empowerment perspectives, promoting a growth-mindset and practicing what she refers to as radical acceptance and compassionate accountability. And lastly, she is a strong LGBTQIA+ ally and supporter of several social and cultural movements that are central to her beliefs and her therapy practice.
