Give a Fluff
The goal of this project was to ideate, design and produce a 15 to 30-second video social media ad for a product, service, or cause, tied to a real brand.
Fluff and Tuff is a philantrophic family-owned business that makes durable dog toys that my own dogs happen to love. This project was completed for a Visual Persuasion and Promotion course while attending Georgetown University. The goal of this project was to ideate, design and produce a 15 to 30-second video social media ad for a product, service, or cause, tied to a real brand, and include an ending call-to-action. The brand messaging required to get people's attention, keep their attention, and call them to action. The skills I developed over the course that were included in the project centered around persuasion, storytelling, copywriting, image-driven composition, and thinking creatively.
My strategy was to create a fun and upbeat advertisement that makes the audience feel as excited as dogs are when they get a new toy.
I produced two videos for this campaign, one with minimal text and one with more descriptive text that depicts the brand's product with real-life customers and ends with a call-to-action asking the audience to "Give a Fluff."
